Life Abundantly Community Services Inc. (“we,” “us”) is a North Carolina 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Wake and Pitt Counties. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, phone line and text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us, such as your name, phone number, email address, county and the type of help you are asking for when you complete our assistance form, call, text or email us.
Communication records, such as call, voicemail, fax and text message logs kept by our phone service provider.
Basic technical information that web hosting services record automatically, such as browser type and pages visited. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use your information

To respond to your request and connect you with our programs.
To schedule appointments and follow up on services.
To send text messages you have agreed to receive (see our Text Messaging Terms).
To meet reporting requirements of grants that fund our programs, using summary or de-identified information wherever possible.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it with a partner organization only with your written permission, or when required by law.

Text messaging privacy. Mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in information are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with our phone service provider only as needed to deliver messages.

Sensitive information

Please do not send medical information, Social Security numbers or other identification numbers through our website form or by text. If services require sensitive information, staff will collect it privately and with your written consent.

Keeping information secure

We use reasonable safeguards, including secure (HTTPS) web connections, access limited to authorized staff, and multi-factor sign-in on our business systems.

Your choices

You may ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.
You may stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online.
